HR Advisor - Bridgwater -  up to £26k DOE
 
My client, a successful, market leading manufacturer, is looking to recruit a HR Advisor / HR Assistant / Human Resource Administrator for their site in Bridgwater.
 
The HR assistant duties will involve a wide range of support activities inside the HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You'll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.
 
 
Main responsibilities will include:
 
·Maintain confidentiality at all times
·Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
·Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources team
·Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
·Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
·Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training etc) and take minutes and notes
·Process employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
·Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
·Communicate with public services when necessary
·Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
·Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
·Conduct initial induction of newly hired employees
 
The successful candidate Must have:
 
·CIPD qualification or currently undertaking studies
·Ideally Degree or qualification in Human Resources or related field
·Ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment although this is not essential
·Proven HR experience
·Excellent Computer skills
This role is a key role within the business and is an excellent career opportunity. The salary on offer is up to £26k Depending on experience.  Working a 37.5 per week, 08.45 - 5.15 with 1 hour lunch break.  Standard pension contributions.  Holiday 21 days plus 8 bank holidays.  This rises by 1 extra day each year until 25days.  The group employs circa 250 staff.
The role is commutable from Exeter, Bristol, Taunton, Yeovil, Weston Super mare, Wells, Shepton Mallet and will suit a candidate that may previously have worked as a HR Assistant, Human Resource, HR Admin, Human resource administrator.
